This listing is for a Spotted Stonehenge Bluestone or also known as Preseli Bluestone palmstone or flat stone, smooth stone from Wales, which weighs approximately 27.1 grams and measurements taken at the widest points are approximately 43 mm x 38 mm x 8 mm.

Stonehenge Bluestone is also known as Dolerite or Preseli Bluestone and is an igneous rock which contains Plagioclase Feldspar and Augite (a pyroxene mineral). This palmstone is made from the spotted Bluestone from the same location as the stones used in the original Stonehenge structure but this particular deposit of bluestone is on a protected site, this example has been collected from a deposit from a nearby private land and was carried there to the mountain by glacial action and deposited there.

Preseli Bluestone is over 480 million years old and is a form of Dolerite found only in the Preseli Mountains in Pembrokeshire. Five thousand years ago the Neolithic people of Britain moved 19 giant pieces of Bluestone, each weighing up to four tons, from Wales more than 200 miles to Salisbury Plain to build the inner circle at Stonehenge. In its raw state the surface has a 'crust' formed as a result of several thousand years of weathering. When broken the inside has a characteristic spotting of white 'stars' - it is thought that the ancients were drawn to these stones partly because of the resemblance to the cosmos.
Preseli Bluestone has a powerful aura, giving focus and stability and anchoring us in the Earth’s energy. The presence of bluestone may also bring vivid detail to/and significant dreams. This stone is said to have immense healing and protective properties and people often find that Bluestone feels warm to the touch. Returns and exchange details
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days of receiving the item whether you have changed your mind or the item is faulty or not as described. The purchase must be returned in the same manner it was posted with the orginial packaging if applicable.
Return postage is payable by the customer if you simply change your mind or if the item is faulty etc then we will pay the return postage. Once returned and checked that the purchase is in the same condition it was posted then a full refund on the purchase price minus the shipping costs will be actioned within 7 days of receipt. If you are eligible for the return postage reimbursement it will be refunded at the same time.
